Fuels4Future relies on sustainable technologies.
Our transport sector still depends largely on fuels made from petroleum, a fossil fuel. All fossil fuels have a finite stock. Moreover, burning them will release CO2 to atmosphere. Fuels derived from organic waste are renewable as well as overall can be CO2 neutral. Such sustainable fuels are the future for transportation, especially in aviation sector.
By 2050, international air traffic is forecasted to double, causing an increase in energy consumption and related growth of CO2 emissions. The International Air Transport Association IATA has identified biojet fuel as the most promising strategy to reduce CO2 emissions in the aviation sector. Significant reductions can be achieved with sustainable biofuel.
We are leading a project to make sustainable fuels from organic waste using a catalytic process. The process is flexible and can use as different organic waste as feed stock and can produce crude fuel under reasonable process conditions.
